By: Alyssa Dollar, PCA Junior

On Friday, November 22nd Pinewood’s 5th and 6th grade classes presented their Christmas math projects. Fifth grade students were asked to create his or her own Christmas Geome-tree. The trees and all of their decorations had to be one dimensional polygons. Sixth grade students were asked to create a manger scene. The scene had to include 3 dimensional polygons including spheres and/or other solid shapes. These projects also were to include Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, and the star in the east. These math projects were on display during the month of December to help 5th and 6th grade students celebrate the Christmas season.
