Pinewood’s Spanish II class presents Famous Hispanic Projects

By: Shelby Dollar, PCA Junior

On December 4th, 2019, Mrs. John’s Spanish II class presented their Famous Hispanic Person presentations. Students were directed to give a 2-5 minute oral presentation on a famous Hispanic who has impacted either the culture of the United States or the world as a whole. The class was able to choose from a list of musicians, actors, scientists, athletes, writers, politicians and even criminals. The presentations had to include the individual’s birthplace, rise to fame and where the individual stands today. Mrs. John’s encouraged her students to be creative and enhance the presentation by dressing up, making a power point, or passing out handouts with information about the famous person. This project was a fun way for the class to learn about famous people who have impacted our world.
