Pinewood Christian Academy’s K-3 students have spent the week celebrating Dr. Seuss and his amazing stories.

Monday was crazy socks day. The K-3 read Fox and Socks, and they read Foot Book.

Tuesday, students read The Cat in the Hat and The Cat in the Hat Comes Back. They wore crazy hats to celebrate.

On Wacky Wednesday, the K-3 kids wore wacky clothes. Students read Wacky Wednesday and Horton Hears a Who.

Thursday, students wore red and blue. The K-3 students read One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, and Horton Hatches an Egg. They incorporated the joy and fun of Dr. Seuss’ books into a devotional lesson, and learned about how God walks our path prior to our waking up and places amazing things in our path each day.

Friday, they wrapped up the week. Leprechauns came to visit and tore up the room. Students got to play find the cat in the hat. It was a great way to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ life and his creative stories!
