January 22, Pinewood’s varsity basketball girls traveled to Frederica Academy where they came up short with a score of 27-41.
Abi Oates led scoring with 17 total points. Jordan Jernigan with 2, Meghan Boatright with 2, Sydney Jernigan 2, Ansley Howard 2, and Emi Oates with 2.

On January 25, Pinewood’s varsity basketball girls brought home a win against Bulloch, scoring 40 to their 32.
A.Oates held the top score with 16 points. M. Boatright followed with 8 total points. E. Oates and A. Howard tied with 6 each. Jordan Jernigan rounded the team out with 4 points.

January 29, the varsity girls won in a nail biting game against Trinity with a score of 34-33.
