Pinewood Lower-School Students Enjoy Polar Express Day

By: Brayden Gravley, PCA junior

Each year at PCA, K3 through 3rd graders have a Polar Express themed day at school. The halls are decorated like scenes from the movie and students come dressed in their pajamas and ready to travel to the North Pole. The fun began with students being led around the school by Coach Hill, the train conductor. They sang Christmas carols and spread holiday cheer as they made their way through the halls. After the Christmas caroling, the students gathered together for hot chocolate and snacks while they watched The Polar Express. The students handed in their golden tickets to the conductor upon returning to the lower school building. As soon as the tickets were punched, the students were admitted into their classrooms to enjoy the movie. Polar Express day has always been an exciting tradition and great way to reward the PCA lower school students for their hard work in the first semester.
