In order to be elected, the students developed a slogan poster and presented a speech explaining why they were the right candidate to fill their selected officer position. Once all the candidates had given their speeches, the class voted to select the class officers. After being elected, all 4-H officers then completed officer training to better serve their positions.

Each student who ran for an office, whether elected or not, stepped up and showed that they are responsible young men and women who are prepared to be the leaders of tomorrow, and such an opportunity will shape their futures for the rest of their lives.
