PCA Wins Region 3rd Year in a Row

PCA vs. Trinity
On February 15, the Lady Patriots traveled to Edmund Burke Academy(EBA) for their first round of region play to take on the Trinity Crusaders. During the first half, the two teams battled it out with a halftime score of 22 to 19. The Lady Patriots surged ahead during the 3rd quarter and led by 17 points. The Crusaders struggled to make a comeback however PCA claimed the win with a final score 49 to 31.

Macy Pirkle led with scoring 15 points. Jordan Jernigan followed with 13 points. Abi Oats 8, Meghan Boatright 6, Raegan Waters 4, Haley Thompson 2, and Shelton Rogers 1.

PCA vs. BA
On February 16, PCA’s Lady Patriots traveled back to EBA to face off in the region championship against Bulloch Academy(BA). The game was tight but the Patriots remain ahead throughout the contest then dominated in the 4th quarter with the girls seizing their 3rd GISA AAA Region Championship title with a score of 57-45.

A. Oats led with 23 points. Pirkle scored 9, Rogers 9, Waters 8, Boatright 6, and Thompson 2.
