PCA’s JV and Middle School Wrestling Team Compete in Invitational

Pinewood’s JV and middle school wrestling team traveled to Southland Academy in Americus, GA on January 19, 2018, to take place in the end of season invitational. Awards were earned in various weight classes. Eighth grader Cade Beecher won first place, eighth grader Mason Shuman placed second, and eighth grader Greg Griffin placed third. Eighth graders Asher Cathy and Jake Rogers along with fifth grader Will Wasson all did very well while gaining a great deal of experience competing.
Garrett Blaxton stated, “The JV and middle school wrestlers ended the year on a high note. There is a lot of potential in the years to come.”
