PCA Sophomores Sponsor Valentine’s Fundraiser

By Sydney Strickland, PCA sophomore

Every year, Pinewood Christian Academy’s sophomore class sponsors a Valentine’s Day fundraiser by selling red, pink, and white carnations to students, faculty, and patrons to give to their friends and colleagues. This year, however, the sophomores decided to sell Hershey Kiss and Starburst candy grams along with carnations, making everyone’s Valentine’s Day a lot sweeter. The students worked very hard preparing for Valentine’s Day deliveries, when all of the carnations and candy grams were given out. Sophomore Hannah Rice states, “We have all worked hard over these past few weeks, and to get to see all of our hard work pay off on Valentine’s Day was a rewarding feeling.”
