PCA varsity cheer takes 2nd at Spooky Spectacular Comp

Pinewood’s varsity competition cheer squad competed in, the Spooky Spectacular competition, hosted by John Milledge Academy in Milledgeville, GA on October 31st.
Pinewood, Trinity Christian School, Bulloch Academy, Briarwood Academy, Gatewood, Bethlehem Christian, and Robert Toombs Academy all gathered to compete in the 1st competition of the season. After months of hard work, the teams were eager to show off their routines. Each one took the mat with their own unique performance and showcased their skills and individuality within their routine.
Trinity Christian took first with a score of 80, Pinewood came in behind with a score of 75, and Bulloch Academy placed 3rd with a score of 60. Head coach Lindsey Blocker shared, “Placing 2nd at the start of our competition season gave the girls a much needed confidence boost. It is my hope that they will use the excitement and honor as motivation to finish the year out strong!”
