PCA Lady Patriots are on a roll

PCA vs. Memorial
On January 11th, the Lady Patriots once again dominated the court against Memorial Day School’s Blue Thunder. PCA took a heavy lead at the half with a score of 29-12. In 2nd half, Memorial failed to overcome the deficient as Pinewood brought home the win 57-21.
Abi Oates led in scoring with 12 points. Faith Smith followed with 8, Lydia Kicklighter 7, Taylor Mixon 6, Sydney Jernigan 4, Charley Holland 4, Madelyn Holland 4, Amy Mills 4, Lilly Griffin 2, Anna Kate Dutton 2, Ansley Howard 2, and Emi Oates 2.

PCA vs. RTCA
On January 14th, the Lady Patriots traveled to Lyons to take on Robert Toombs Christian Academy (RTCA). The Lady Crusaders struggled against the Pinewood girls giving the Lady Patriots a clear path to victory with a final score of 36-15.
A. Oates led in scoring with 11 points and Howard right behind her with 10. Mills followed with 9, Kicklighter 4, and Griffin 2.

PCA vs. Westfield:
On January 17th, the Lady Patriots hosted the Westfield Hornets. PCA kept a pretty regular pace for the first three quarters of the game. Although Pinewood followed the Hornets at the half, Westfield’s weak third quarter cost them the game when Pinewood surged in the 4th to steal the win with a final score of 36-26.
A.Oates led in scoring with 14, Mills and Howard followed with 7, Jernigan 4, Kicklighter 2, and E. Oates 2.

PCA vs. BA:
On January 21st, the Lady Patriots traveled to Statesboro to go up against their longtime rival, the BA Lady Gators. It was a slow start for the Lady Patriots as they trailed behind the Gators 6-16 at the half. It was not until the 4th quarter that PCA found their footing scoring 16 points. The Lady Patriots fought hard, but came up 7 points short in the end for their one loss of the week 28-35.
Mills claimed the most points of the night with 10. A. Oates followed with 9 points, Howard with 7 and Jernigan 2.

PCA vs. Frederica:
On January 24th, the Lady Patriots traveled to St. Simons Island where they went head to head with Frederica Academy (FA). The Lady Patriots came out with a strong 12 point lead in the first quarter with back and forth play throughout the game. Despite the attempt at a comeback by the Knights, Pinewood maintained their lead to clinch the win 39-31.
A.Oates was the top scorer for the evening claiming 19 points. Kicklighter followed her closely with 9 points while Howard scored 7, Mills and Jernigan 4, and Cassie Barry 2.

PCA vs. Claxton:
On January 25th, Pinewood took to the court with the Claxton Lady Tigers at CHS. PCA’s Lady Patriots finished the first quarter in the lead with a score of 25-10. Although the Lady Tigers had a stronger 3rd quarter than PCA, the Lady Patriots maintained their momentum to remain in the lead and finish for the win with a score of 41-20.
A.Oates defended the patriot lead with 17 points. Mills followed with 9 points with Kicklighter scoring 7, Howard 4, and Barry and E. Oates 2.
