Pinewood Varsity Wrestling Region Runners-up

On February 2, Pinewood’s varsity wrestlers travelled to Statesboro to compete at region against Bulloch Academy (BA), Robert Toombs Christian Academy (RTCA), and Trinity Christian School (TCS).

Overall Bulloch won first, Pinewood second, Trinity third, and Robert Toombs fourth.

In each weight class our wrestlers did extremely well. Tal Godwin, Teague Blake, and Jobie Hartley got second in each of their weight classes. Ronnie Griffin, Kennon Bell, Matthew Coe, Christian Strickland, Brock Heath, Korbett MacGregor, and Joseph MacGregor got third in their weight classes.

The varsity wrestlers now get to travel to Americus to compete at state which is February 10-11.
