2017 Wildlife Essay Contest

It’s that time of year again! The annual Evans County Wildlife Club essay contest is in full swing! The topics for the essays include: 5th and 6th grade, “What would Evans County be like without wildlife conservations?,” 7th and 8th grade, “How important do you think wildlife conservation is to science and advances in medicine?,” 9th and 10th grade, “If you could meet with the governor of Georgia, how would you convince him to add wildlife conservation to his platform?” and 11th and 12th grade, “Compare wildlife conservation in Evans County in 1967 to 2017 and how do you think it would compare to 2067?” The students in Evans County schools have the opportunity to win money if they place in the essay contest. First place will be awarded $100, second place $75, and third place $50 all awarded as savings bonds. The winners will be notified before the festival so they may be given their awards at the festival.
