Third Grade Presents Weather Experiments
By: Britton Waters, PCA Senior
On August 24th, the third grade students at Pinewood Christian Academy showed off their meteorology skills by presenting weather experiments to the class. Third grade teachers, Mrs. Daniel and Mrs. DeLoach have been teaching their students about the different aspects of weather by monitoring the radar for tropical storms and hurricanes. The students were assigned with the task of recording the daily forecast of local and national weather. Different types of weather experiments were conducted such as modeling the eye of a hurricane, demonstrating the shape of a tornado, and determining the cause of thunder. Each student did an outstanding job, and they all enjoyed learning more about the different weather systems.
