Pinewood is celebrating their 46th annual Homecoming Week, and this year will be another one to remember. Friday, September 28, will be the Homecoming game against Frederica Academy. Before the game, students along with their friends and family are invited to attend the Homecoming tailgate party catered by Rusty Pig held in the Lower School gym.
The four select seniors will be driven onto the field during the pre-game show to be recognized. During halftime, the 2018 Homecoming representatives will be escorted by their fathers out on the field in their elegant dresses. Senior representatives vying for the title of Homecoming Queen are Bailey Oliver, Jordan Jernigan, Madison Davis, and Tinsley McCall. Junior class representatives are Madeline Deal, Madison Shaffer, and Abi Oates. Sophomore class representatives are Payton Rogers and Carson Rountree. Julie Collins will be representing the freshman class. Eighth grade will be represented by Julia Hethcox, and seventh grade will be represented by Harleigh Driggers. Pinewood will welcome back their 2017 Homecoming Queen, Milligan Williams, to crown the 2018 Homecoming Queen and Princess.
Bringing the festivities to an end will be the Homecoming Dance that will be held by the seniors in the cafeteria. Everyone is invited to come attend the tailgate, game, and dance for a night to remember.
