Students from Pinewood Christian Academy, 4-H win big at the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair

Students in 4-H at Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) participated in the 2015 4-H Booth at the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair. The students had to create a project with information on a topic of their choice. The Saturday before the fair, the students put up their posters for everyone to look see.

The 1st place winners from PCA were Smith Dekle (grades 5-6), Matthew Durrence (grades 5-6), Noelle Waters (grades 5-6), Elizabeth O’Brien (grades 5-6), Payton Haddon (grades 9-12), Jacob Myers (grades 9-12), and Miranda DeLoach (grades 9-12). Second place winner was Logan Haddon (grades 7-8).

All 1st place winning exhibits are re-judged for overall grand prizes and class certificates in each division. Miranda DeLoach was additionally awarded the “Grand Champion Booth” for her exhibit. This means that Miranda’s exhibit was the best out of all the exhibits placed in the competition for the 9th-12th grade division. Payton Haddon was additionally awarded with a class certificate for “Most Creative” for her exhibit.
