Madeline Thompson named PCA’s 2017 Star Student

Madeline Thompson has been named Pinewood Christian Academy’s 2017 STAR Student. The annual STAR Awards Luncheon was hosted by the Evans County Chamber of Commerce on February 16th to honor the Star Students from Evans County. The Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program recognizes Georgia’s highest achieving high school seniors and the most academically instrumental teachers. Madeline Thompson earned the honor of becoming STAR Student by achieving the highest SAT score in one sitting from her grade level. Thompson named Alison Pollak, Pinewood’s 10th and 11th grade environmental science, chemistry, and anatomy teacher, as her STAR teacher. We are very proud of Madeline and her accomplishments that earned her the title of PCA’s Star Student.
