Seniors during “Ships and Sailors”

The Varsity cheerleaders hosted their last pep rally of the year on Tuesday, February 7. It was “Senior Pep Rally”, so all of the seniors were able to participate. First, the cheerleaders held a sign that the seniors were to walk through as the rest of the school cheered them on. Following the seniors walking through the sign, the cheerleaders performed their “fight song”. After that, the senior basketball players, wrestlers, and cheerleaders were announced and called to the mat. Then, they played a relay game with the senior basketball players and wrestlers. The basketball players and wrestlers were to each get in a sweatshirt with both their arms and legs in the arm holes and push a basketball down the court. Once they got the basketball down the court, they were to find one gummy worm in a whipped cream and chocolate pudding pie. Kort Kennedy was the winner of the relay. Following the relay, the cheerleaders did the “spirit stick” chants to each grade. Next, all of the seniors played three rounds of “Ships and Sailors”. The winners of the “spirit stick” were announced after “Ships and Sailors”. The lower school winners were 4th-6th, and the upper school winner was the seniors. In closing, all of the seniors were called down to the mat, and Mrs. Paula Bush led everyone in singing the Alma Mater.
