Pinewoods Jr. Beta Club competes at Georgia State Convention

December 4th through the 6th, Pinewood’s Jr. Beta Club competed at the Georgia State Convention in Savannah at the International Trade Center. They competed against over 100 clubs from all around Georgia. Students placed in the following competitions:
Apparel Design: 1st Place – club competition Libby Kate Blocker interviewee
Fiber Arts: 1St Place – Mia Hamner
6Th grade Social Studies: 1st Place – Hailey McWilliams
Robotics: 2nd Place – Kaedan Arnold, Wesley Tippins, Jake Rogers, Ben Swindell, Bryce Burke, Bryson Croft, Cody Burke, Jamie Sapp
Technology: 2nd Place – Cody Burke, Bryson Croft, Luke Deloach, Jordan Whitlow, Maddox Akins
2D Design: 2nd Place – Tyson Swindell, Bradley Hearn, Banks Hearn, Jonathan Fries, Banks Durrence, Avery Beasley, Seth Dekle
3d Design: 3rd Place – Riley Nevil, Ella Johns, Laci Stone, Genevieve Bradley, Jordan Bland, Mimi Parker
Service Showcase: 3rd Place – Abi Pazderski, Harleigh Driggers, Braxton Burke, Madison Bashlor
Speech: 4th Place – Liam Porter
Digital Photography: 5th Place – Kenzie Hinson
Jewelry: 6th Place – Grace Rogers
Students and groups awarded 1st-3rd place as well, as those awarded a “Golden Ticket,” have an opportunity to compete at Nationals. Nationals will take place on June 15-18 in Fort Worth, TX. PCA is very proud of their Jr. Beta Club participants and wish those the best at Nationals.
