Pinewood’s Interact Club Raises Money for Polio
By Michala Hobbs, PCA Senior
PCA’s Interact Club hosted a cornhole tournament to raise funds for the fight against Polio. The event was held in the lower school gym to accommodate the event and with the thirty-two total teams who participated. The first place winners were Grayson Swindell and Nathan Scott; their team name was “Cash Money”. Second place was taken by Eli Collins and Lane Duffield, who dubbed their team as “Papa Stallion.”
“Cornhole was the students’ idea and I will say it turned out to be a great one,” says Jennifer Bradley, PCA’s Interact Club Sponsor, “Though we’ve never had a Cornhole tournament before, we will defiantly make it an annual tradition. The students and faculty had so much fun playing and the event was a successful fundraiser. The PCA Interact Club is very excited to give to Rotary’s movement to radiate Polio.”
