Pinewood’s FCA Hosts Annual Golf Classic

Pinewood’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes hosted their annual FCA Golf Classic tournament at Brazell’s Creek Golf Course in Reidsville on September 28th.

The tournament included 7 teams all vying for the number one spot. Maylon Stanfield, Parker Claxton, Jackson Godbee, and Hunter Brown representing Jamie Oates Enterprises took home first place with a score of 53. Representing Performance Insulation with a score of 57, Adam Blocker, Joey Smith, Jeremy Curl and Jason Lanier came in second place. Ty Hutson, Jimmy Griffith, Brian Hodges, and Paul Smith finished in third place for Ace Hardware with a score of 59.  The tournament also included longest drive contest won by Hunter Brown and closest to the pin won by Zebbo Mattox.

This fundraiser was a great success and will provide for the club’s future community service projects.
