Pinewood’s 2017 Cross Country Season Begins

The PCA cross country team is kicking off their season and hoping for big things this year since the boys’ team is returning from winning region runner up. The team, coached by Paula Johns, has grown quickly in its first few years and is heading into the season with forty four runners, including eleven senior runners.
Brantley Swindell, son of Jay and Lynn Swindell.

Favorite Cross Country Moment: Pulling together as a team really proving that we are competitive and serious about this sport by winning region runner up last year.
Jackson Godbee, son of Michael and Ashley Godbee.

Favorite Cross Country Moment: Being an All Region runner my sophomore year and getting region runner up as a team my junior year.
Haden Belding, son of Angela and Russell Belding.

Favorite Cross Country Moment: Spending time having fun with my team mates at state.

Favorite Cross Country Moment: Running up John’s Rock in Brevard with my team and enjoying the view together.
