McCall and Rogers attend NAFST

By: Audrey Skinner, PCA junior

On June 29 – July 1, 2017, Pinewood juniors, Tinsley McCall and Garlon Rogers, joined 4000 high school students from across the world at the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists in Lowell, Massachusetts. Congress hosted the event for the young minds of high school scholars who are interested in having a career in the fields of science or technology. One memorable thing to Tinsley McCall was having over twenty brilliant minds in science and technology talk about the things they have discovered and invented to better the world. A few of the people who attended included the inventor of Siri, Sean Stephenson the “Three Foot Giant”, and Sylvester Gate.
