Pinewood SPAL Football Season Comes to an End

On October 26, 2017 Pinewood Christian Academy’s seventh and eighth grade Savannah Parochial Athletic League (SPAL) football team’s season came to an end when they lost to Hancock Day School in the first round of the SPAL playoffs. The team ended with a winning season of 6-2. They were coached by Andy Callaway, Chad Cofield and Kevin Hill. “Outstanding season overall,” said Coach Callaway. “The team improved in all areas of the game, and I am extremely proud of how we played against such good competition.” Fourteen of the twenty-five players will be moving up to the varsity season next year.
