Pinewood Christian Academy marked the start of the 2018-2019 school year with their annual senior breakfast on August 10th. The class of 2019, along with their parents, were invited to celebrate their final year of high school with a breakfast held at Evans County Wildlife Club, and catered by Southern Flair Catering from Reidsville.

Britt McDade, owner of Chick-fil-a in Vidalia, was invited to speak to the students about the year ahead. He instructed the senior class to never take their senior year for granted. The speaker spoke about how fortunate the class was to be able to learn in an environment such as Pinewood and in turn, how bright their futures would be because of their Christian education.

After breakfast, the senior class made their way to Pinewood where they gathered across the street for their last first day of school at PCA. As the students walked arm in arm, family and friends welcomed them onto the school lawn decorated their senior signs

Once the students were inside the building, parents gathered together to decorate each senior’s vehicle with window paint, balloons, homemade signs, banners, and streamers.
“It was a bitter sweet day. It’s crazy to think I’m starting my last year of high school with friends that I have known and loved since I was little. We have made great friendships through the years, and I can’t wait to see where this journey leads each of us,” commented senior Meghan Boatright.
