Wednesday, September 11, Pinewood Christian Academy held an induction ceremony for the National and National Junior Honor Societies.  Parents were invited to the chapel service and induction. Dr. Tom Sollosi delivered a devotion during the chapel portion of the ceremony, and Mrs. Porter’s home economics students catered a reception held after the service to honor the new inductees.

Selection for the Honor Society is based on four main criteria: scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  Pinewood’s National Honor Society has a total of 87 members with the newly inducted 29 sophomores.  Forty–one 7th and 8th grade students were also inducted into the National Jr. Honor Society, giving them a membership of 67 students.  Pinewood is proud of these students for their hard work and dedication to academic successes.
