Pinewood competes at Bulloch Academy and SEB XC Meets

Bulloch Meet
On October 7th, the Pinewood middle school cross country teams competed in a meet at Bulloch Academy.

Riley Nevil led the middle school girls with a time of 16:38 and finished in 1st place. Nevil was followed by Ella Johns 3rd, Laci Stone 4th, Abi Scott 5th, Emma Strickland 6th, Payton Cowart 7th, and Handley Kate Lewis 8th. A. Scott and Lewis both ran personal best times for the season.

Cash Bland, Sutton Dekle, Logan Dukes, Trent Jenkins, Liam Porter, and Taylor Solaro represented the PCA middle school boys’ team. Dekle, Jenkins, and Porter all ran season best times.

SEB Meet

Southeast Bulloch hosted a meet at the 7 Mile Farm on October 8th. Pinewood varsity girls, varsity boys, and middle school girls all attended.

In the middle school girls division, Nevil placed 3rd. Nevil was followed by Stone 5th and E. Johns 6th. These runners finished with season best times.

The varsity girls also competed at this meet. Matalie Miles and Madi Shaffer participated in the race. Miles ran her best race of the season.

Camden Johns, Forrest Johns, Truett Rountree, Luke Scott, and Nathan Scott competed in the varsity boys race. C. Johns and F. Johns both ran their season best times.
