PCA’s drama team named GISA One Act Region runner-up

The drama team woke up bright and early on November 1st, 2019, to attend GISA’s One Act Region competition at Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia, Georgia. The other schools attending included Bulloch Academy, Fredrica Academy, Westfield Academy, and Trinity Christian School. Westfield took first place with their presentation of La Soldedera, while PCA came in a close second with Into the Woods! It was a welcome surprise after the many months of hard work that actors and directors Mrs. Jenna Watkins, Mrs. Susan Nobles, and Mrs. Angie Whiten put into the production. Aaron Lyons and Claire Mullis, who played the roles of the Baker and Little Red Riding Hood respectively, won the award for All-Star Cast Members. Gracie Hodges, who played the role of Cinderella, won the award for Outstanding Performance. The drama team will be competing at GISA’S State competition on November 13th. Come support our Patriots!
