PCA Varsity Boys Basketball ends the Week With a Win

PCA vs. Frederica
January 22, Pinewood’s varsity boys basketball team traveled to St. Simons Island to go head to head with the Frederica Knights. The boys lost to their opponent with a score of 42-54.
Ethan Duckworth scored 21 points against the knights. David Friedberg finished with a total score of 10. Suter Hartley scored 4 points, and Logan Lewis trailed shortly behind with 3. Jacob Todd finished out scoring with 2 points.

PCA vs. Bulloch
On January 25, the varsity boys faced off against Bulloch Academy. The boys fell short scoring 62 to Bulloch’s 74.
Duckworth held the top score with 31 total points. Maylon Stanfield and Friedberg tied with 8 points each. Hartley finished with 7, and Todd with 6. John Marshall Headrick scored 2 points for the patriots.

January 29, Pinewood’s varsity boys beat the Trinity Crusaders in a close 70-68 game.
Duckworth scored 33 points for Pinewood. Friedberg scored 9 total points. Stanfield and Lewis both finished with 7, and Headrick with 6. Hartley scored 4 points. Mason Freeman and Lake Dasher tied with 2 points each.
