PCA Students Perform at Rotary

On September 7, 2016 Milligan Williams and Emily Griffin, juniors at PCA, sang at the Veterans Community Center for the Claxton Rotary Club. To begin the ceremony the girls sang “America the Beautiful” and the National Anthem. Major Michael Carrion, a detachment officer for the 3rd Infantry Division at Gt. Stewart, spoke at the meeting. He described how 9/11 was a pivotal moment in his life. He explained how 9/11 effected his career choice and gave his life a defined purpose of serving his country. “We were honored to be invited and enjoyed it very much”, said Williams. This was a great opportunity for our students to be involved in the community.
