Pinewood Christian Academy seniors Meghan Boatright and Ethan Duckworth dominated the court of Augusta Prep at the GISA All-Star Basketball game!
Both students are at the top of their team at PCA, with Boatright scoring 200 points just this season, and 471 points in her varsity career as post/center. “I had so much fun playing with girls that had been my rivals over the past few years. This was my last chance to play for the GISA as a varsity basketball player and the experience was amazing. We played tough but more importantly we had a great time. If I could, I would play basketball every weekend with the groups of different girls from around the state. This is a memory I will never forget!” shared Boatright.
Duckworth also has impressive stats as Pinewood’s shooting guard, scoring 552 points this year and 1559 points throughout his high school career which included him scoring the third most points (39) scored in a single game in PCA history. “Having the opportunity to play in the All-Star game with some of the best players in the state is something I will never forget,” commented Duckworth. Duckworth was 8 for 10 on three pointers in the Georgia VS. South Carolina All-Star Game, coming in as the leading scorer for the Georgia team.
