On April 9, Pinewood juniors and seniors, were “dancing in the moonlight” at the Collins Barn. The Barn was elaborately decorated with a bohemian twist of décor such as macramé table settings, shimmery lights strung from the ceiling, oriental rugs, taper candles and lanterns. There was a photo booth set up for everyone to take fun pictures with a variety of props. Outside the barn, numerous areas were decorated as photo backdrops for each couple to have their pictures made.

Despite the frigid weather, family and friends gathered to celebrate their seniors during the senior walk. The seniors and their dates were announced and each couple walked down a path through the crowd, which was decorated with pampas grass and oriental rugs. All in attendance were treated to a lovely meal of roast beef and mashed potatoes catered by Bevricks of Metter. The desert bar was filled with cheesecake, donut holes and many other sweets for everyone to enjoy. DJ Shannon Sapp provided the entertainment for the evening with a montage of past and present hit songs.

The evening ended with the crowning of the 2022 Prom King, Queen, Prince, and Princess. Senior Gabe Edwards and Julie Collins were crowned Prom King and Queen, and juniors Aiden Woolard and Mary-Lucy Dasher were named Prince and Princess.

PCA would like to thank the Junior Class along with everyone involved in the making of another memorable prom experience.
