PCA Juniors Host a “Winter Wonderland” Prom
By Sydney Strickland, PCA junior
On April 13th, Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) was taken out of the spring weather into a dazzling winter wonderland for its annual prom celebration. PCA’s junior class, parents, and homeroom teachers decorated the Randy Roderick Gymnasium with snowy backdrops, shimmering white trees, and twinkling lights to fit their winter theme. At prom, the junior and senior class, along with their dates, were treated to a wonderful dinner catered by Bevrick’s of Metter and a dessert bar filled with cupcakes, cookies, and much more. The students also enjoyed taking pictures in a photo booth full of fun hats and other props and costumes. Faculty member Sarah Beverly served as the DJ for the night and had everyone in attendance dancing and singing along to past and present hit songs. The evening ended with the crowning of the 2019 Prom King, Queen, Prince, and Princess. Seniors Logan Lewis and Michala Hobbs were named Prom King and Queen, and juniors Tanner Lewis and Presley Godbee were Prince and Princess. PCA would like to thank everyone involved in the making of another successful prom experience.
