PCA Hosts Annual K.I.S.S. Event and Book Fair

The annual fall book fair at Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) began Monday, November 2, and it ended Friday, November 6. This year’s theme for the book fair, housed in the PCA library, was monsters. The pre-K through 6th grade teachers made a wish list of books for the students to purchase, if they wished, to help expand the classroom library in addition to books the students added to their personal libraries.
The annual Kids Invite Someone Special (KISS) event was again a huge success. Students in grades Pre-K through 6 had the opportunity to invite someone to eat lunch with them throughout the week. After the children and there special person ate lunch together, they were encouraged to shop at the book fair.
