PCA hosts American Red Cross blood drive

On Tuesday, January 21, Pinewood hosted The American Red Cross and participated in a blood drive. The student council sponsored this event with a goal of donating 24 pints but exceeded that goal and finished with 36 pints donated. Among the donors were 6 parents/alumni, 15 faculty members, and 21 students. First time donor Cadence Lynn commented, “I was nervous to donate for the first time but knowing I could help save a life made it all worth it.” According to American Red Cross representatives on site, PCA’s donation will potentially save up to 100 lives.
