PCA Holds Annual Commencement Exercises

On Sunday, May 15, 2016, Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) held their annual commencement exercises in the Eddie Durrence Gymnasium on the campus in Bellville, GA. The invocation was given by Honor Graduate Noah Johns followed by the welcome which was given by Salutatorian Delaney Pirkle. Honor Graduate Emily Shiver introduced the guest speaker, Dr. Jeff Jackson. Following the graduation address, the tradition of presenting of Bibles from the Parker family was again observed by Mr. W. Dale Parker, and the farewell followed, given by Valedictorian Allyse Kumpula. Mr. Harold Roach, PCA Headmaster, then presented diplomas with the assistance of Mr. Greg Woolard, Chairman of the Board of Governors, who moved each tassle. The 2016 Senior class presented this year’s gift to the school: a new electronic sign. After the singing of the Alma Mater, Honor Graduate Tarah Thompson closed the ceremony in prayer. Congratulations class of 2016!
