PCA Fire Presentation

On Friday, October 27, 2018, Pinewood hosted an annual presentation about fire safety for grades K-5 through 2nd. The firemen talked to students about fire safety, stop drop and roll, firemen work attire, and firemen utensils. The firemen also showed students part of the firetruck. The students were very interested in learning how the firetruck worked and how the various devices helped the firemen be safe during a fire. Smokey the Bear was also present for the presentation. The story about Smokey was told to the students. The fire department handed out fire hats at the end of the day to all the students who attended the presentation.
