PCA Cross Country Team Wins First Meet of the Season

Pinewood attended a varsity and middle school meet hosted by Bulloch Academy at Mill Creek on September 21st. The teams in attendance were Pinewood and Bulloch Academy.

In the varsity run, Laci Stone finished 2nd overall and 1st for Pinewood’s varsity girls’ team with a time of 23:52. Riley Nevil followed Stone in 3rd place at 23:59, Matalie Miles in 4th (26:57), Lilly Griffin 5th (27:23), Ally McCall 7th (29:07), and Lydia Kicklighter 11th (32:45).

In the boys’ varsity run, Truett Rountree placed 12th with a time of 23:32, and Jax Lewis followed in 13th place at 23:34.

In the middle school girls’ run, Payton Cowart placed 2nd with a time of 11:16. Following Cowart was Taylor Bland 3rd (11:19), Abi Scott 8th (12:20), and Carrington Dutton 9th (12:25).

In the middle school boys’ run, Bryson Croft finished 6th at 11:25. Cash Bland followed finishing 10th (11:59), Kevin Wasson 14th (12:24), Brantley Dutton 15th (13:59), Sutton Dekle 16th (14:16), Taylor Solaro 17th (14:16).

Pinewood’s varsity girls’ finished first.
