PCA Announces 2018-2019 Cheerleading Team

Pinewood Christian Academy hosted cheerleading tryouts on May 7-12. Senior cheerleaders, Peighton Brown and Braliee Jones, taught a dance, cheer, and a chant for the tryouts to be judged by PCA’s new head cheerleading coach Lindsey Blocker and assistant coaches Cathi Willett, Alexis Smith, and Emma Dasher. The girls are excited to take on this upcoming season with these great coaches.
Congratulations to the new 2018-2019 Varsity and JV competition/sideline teams. PCA’s varsity competition team includes: Nola Rushing, Madison Davis, Cadyn Monroe, Cadence Lynn, Carson Rountree, Shelby Dollar, Alyssa Dollar, Tinsley McCall, Hayley Coley, Kendalyn Spacek, Madelyn Spacek, Payton Rogers, Malaree Dasher, MiKaley Durrence, Taylor Langford, and Mallory Sessions. Alternates are Savana Collins and Elizabeth Fawcett. PCA’s sideline team is: Ally McCall, Ashton Shuman, Madison Shaffer, Brooke Anderson, Ashlee Giardina, Liliana Mercer, Cadyn Monroe, Cadence Lynn, Carson Rountree, Shelby Dollar, Alyssa Dollar, Tinsley McCall, Hayley Coley, Kendalyn Spacek, Madelyn Spacek, Payton Rogers, Malaree Dasher, MiKaley Durrence, Taylor Langford, and Mallory Sessions, Savana Collins and Elizabeth Fawcett.
Pinewoods Junior Varsity (JV) competition/sideline team consists of: Polly Claxton, Cassidi Lynn, Ava Woolard, Sarah Kelley, Harleigh Driggers, Milli Anderson, Morgan Blalock, Isabella Mulligan, Jaeley MacGregor, Elizabeth Grace O’Brien, Laci Stone, Genevieve Bradley, Mimi Parker, Brynnslett Bland, Sarah Jane Collins, and Becky Edwards. The alternates are Braxton Burke and Emma Hodges.
