Mobile Computer Lab for Pinewood

For the first time, Pinewood students, have access to a mobile computer lab. The 18 Dell laptop computers are made accessible to any upper school classroom as needed being transported in their own specially designed cart. With these computers, the students and teachers will be able to work more easily than in a regular computer lab.
These computers allow for more differentiation within the class. Some students could be working on the computers, while others finish up worksheets. Another great thing about this new addition is that the classes can share with one another so that more than one class at a time can use these computers.
Mrs. Lacy Shuman commented that this technological improvement has opened up all kinds of new ideas for the future such as possibly adding Chrome Books for the middle school and a class set of iPads for the lower school. PCA is eager to see this type of additions working for the students at Pinewood.
