3rd Grade Weather Project

The Pinewood third grade class presented their weather projects this week. The students had to do many things during this project including writing a paper, giving an oral presentation, and performing the actual experiment. A total of 40 students participated.

Through this project, the students learned how weather effects their daily lives. They also learned what safety procedures to follow in the event of a storm. The class analyzed weather patterns for large storms, while keeping their own weather log. Some students presented how there is water everywhere around them; others showed how weather can impact everything that we do.
This annual project is a way for students to understand weather, and how it can help us and harm us. Pinewood appreciates all of the hard work and effort that the teachers and students put into this project.
