Lady Patriots Hit a Bump on the Region Road

The softball team at Pinewood Christian Academy is on a fast pace journey to defend the title of GISA Region 2 champs. The road would prove to be a rocky one as the Lady Patriots put one in the loss column. The beginning of the week’s play would have no foreshadowing on what was ahead as the Lady Patriots defeated the Windsor Academy Lady Knight Sept. 14 with a score of 9-1. Raegan Waters was on the mound for PCA holding Windsor to a 3 hit game. Macy Pirkle, Shelton Rogers, Raegan Waters, Hanna Anderson and Carleigh Bell were on base for PCA through the game but Emily Shiver would stand out with 4 RBIs. The next region game was against Edmund Burke Academy Sept. 17.
