K-4 Visits a Pumpkin Patch
Thursday, October 29, 2015, Pinewood Christian Academy’s K-4 students went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch located at the Whispering Pines Farm right outside of Metter. When the students got there, they went on a hay ride around the farm and ran around and played on hay bales. During their ride, the students were able to get off and pick their own pumpkin from the field to take with them. They stopped to have lunch outside of a beautiful, red barn. After the outside activities had come to a stop, they went inside to read a short story, “Sguiggly, the Square Pumpkin,” and they had their picture taken with the pumpkin. The students departed and arrived back to school safely by 12:30.
