Homecoming Court
With the 2015 Homecoming Week well underway for Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA), the students are swelling with excitement. The long awaited Homecoming game Friday, September 25, preceded by the Patriot Tailgate at 5:30 will be a night to remember for a chosen group of stunning young ladies. Almost all young ladies wish and dream to wear an elegant gown as they take the long anticipated walk across the football field. Those wishes and dreams will come true for a select group of 14 representatives during the Pre-Game show at 7:00 pm before the Homecoming game, under the iconic Friday night lights as one lucky young lady is crowned as the PCA 2015 Homecoming Queen.
This week, PCA students will select Homecoming Queen 2015 from a group of beautiful young ladies representing the Senior class of 2016. Selected by their peers, Senior Representatives are Jena Brown, Delaney Pirkle, Alexis Smith, Brayden Bland, and Anna Freeman. These ladies will join their court of underclassmen representatives on Lowell Coley Field Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Pre-Game Show beginning at 7:00 pm.
Representatives from grades 7-11 will also adorn the field Friday night. Junior representatives are Emily Threlkeld, Katie Bell, and Aubrey Ray Sheffield. Shelton Rogers and Emily Griffin will represent the sophomore class, and Ansley Dykes will stand for the freshman class. Eighth grade students chose Annie Glisson to be representative, and seventh grade students send Ella Anderson.
PCA welcomes Edie Threlkeld, Homecoming Queen 2014, who will be returning to campus to crown the 2015 Homecoming Queen Friday night. Everyone is encouraged to join the PCA family Friday at 5:30 pm for the Tailgate event, 7:00 pm for the Pre-game show, and 7:30 pm for the football game.
