Hodges and Gravely represent PCA at Middle School All-Select Chorus

PCA eighth graders Brayden Gravely and Gracie Hodges represented Pinewood at the GISA middle school All-Select Chorus. All-Select is an intensive weekend where GISA students from around the state gather to learn and prepare a varied repertoire for a concert Saturday evening.The girls and Pinewood’s choir director, Mrs. Miriam Porter, traveled to Brewton Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Georgia for the two-day event, February 3-4.  Gravely and Hodges practiced most of the day upon their arrival and performed the evening of the 4th.  The chorus performed “Halala Layya”, “Aya Ngena”, “It’s All I Have to Bring”, “Now is the Cool of the Day”, “Morning Round” and “Awake,Ye Sleepers”, and “Rise”.
