Grandparent’s Day at PCA

On March 10, Pinewood Christian Academy held its annual Grandparents’ Day celebration.  Children in grades K-4 through 5th participated in the musical program and performed for their grandparents and families.  The students sang worship songs including: “Come, Now is the Time to Worship”, “It is You”, “You’re Worthy of my Praise”, and more.

In addition, the children’s artwork they had created in art class was showcased in an art gallery in the lower school gymnasium.  While grandparents viewed the artwork, they enjoyed refreshments.

Afterwards, grandparents visited their grandchildren’s classrooms and met their teachers.  During this time, grandparents received a glimpse into their grandchildren’s daily routine and class activity’s.  To conclude the morning, the children and their families stopped by the book fair in the library.

Grandparent’s Day is a special PCA tradition, and this years celebration was a success.
