Emily Thompson Chosen to Participate on Washington Youth Tour

Pinewood Christian Academy (PCA) junior Emily Thompson, daughter of Mark and Christy Thompson of Glennville, was selected as a Canoochee EMC delegate for the Washington Youth Tour. Thompson will be one of the four juniors from surrounding Tattnall and Evans County schools chosen to be a part of the Youth Tour experience. Through the Tour, she will have the opportunity to meet with various U.S. representatives and senators and learn more about what it takes to run our country, all while exploring the sights and monuments of Washington D.C.

“I am truly humbled and honored to be chosen as a delegate for the 2019 Washington Youth Tour. I have such a heart and passion for leadership, and I believe this opportunity will give me the skills to become a better leader in my school, church, and community,” shared Thompson.
