Chorus at Glennville Rotary

On Wednesday, March 1, 2017, Pinewood’s chorus was invited to sing at the Glennville Rotary Club’s meeting. Their line-up included chorus songs, piano songs played by Nola Rushing and Ashton Shuman, solo songs sung by Milligan Williams, Joshua Murray, and Aaron Lyons, and trio songs. The trio consists of Milligan Williams, Haley Thompson, and Elizabeth McCooey. The group performed “Walk in Jerusalem” (chorus) by Dilworth, “Alla Turca” by Mozart (piano, Nola Rushing), “Wayfaring Stranger” (solo, Milligan Williams) arr. Atlhouse, “Prelude in C” by Mozart (piano, Ashton Shuman), When I Think upon the Maidens (solo, Joshua Murray) by Head, Imagine Spring (trio) by Jacobson and Snyder and Down in the River to Pray (trio) by Culloton, Omnia Sol (chorus) by Stroope, and their closing song, May the Road Rise (chorus) by H. Stanley. The solo, piano, and trio pieces will be competing at the GISA Region Literary Competition on Thursday, March 2.
