Call to Action Chapel Service with Garlon Rogers
On September 28, FCA students lead all aspects of PCA’s chapel service. Garlon Rogres, a sophomore at Pinewood, led the middle school’s chapel. His message was called “A Call to Action.” Garlon’s message focused on asking God for help in difficult situations. When you face the most difficult moments in life: a sick family member, a bully at school, a friend who turns their back on you- ask God for help! You cannot handle life’s huge problems on your own, so don’t try. Instead, do as Jesus did, and go to God. The way to do this is to pray for God’s will to be done. The verse Garlon related his lesson to was Mark 14:38 (NIV), “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
