Benedictine edges out PCA in second season shoot

Pinewood Christian Academy Shotgun team competed Saturday, September 19th in their second GISA shoot this season at Forest City Gun Club in Savannah GA. Out of the 11 schools that participated, the Patriots came in a close second, being bested by Benedictine of Savannah by only one bird.

Top three team totals were Benedictine 876, Pinewood, 875, Savannah Christian 837. The top five scores from each team are added together to determine the day’s team winner.

During the day, the shooters aim at 200 targets. Top PCA shooters for were Rich Pazderski with 183, Abi Pazderski with 176, Landon DeLoach with 175, Gabe Collins with 173,  and Colt Bragg with 168.

Bragg brought top honors in skeet competition, shooting 50 straight out of 50 targets. Collins came in with 48.

The Pazderskis also took top ten honors in Trap, busting 46 out of 50 clays each.

The team will travel to PInetucky Gun Club in Blyth, GA on October 3rd for their next GISA competition.
